KENOSHA, Wis. (AP) — Police in the southeastern Wisconsin city of Kenosha shot and wounded a Black man, apparently in the back, after responding to a call about a domestic dispute, setting off a night of protests and unrest in which officers fired tear gas and demonstrators apparently hurled objects back at them and set fire to parked cars.
Exactly how many of these untrained buffoons are the towns of America willing to coddle at the expense of their downtown districts?
If America is about “law and order” then these reprobates with badges need to be tried and convicted.

Exactly. It’s as if “law and order” must only apply if you are black or peacefully demonstrating. If you are policeman, you are giving a pass for being a white supremacist thug.

Unfit asshole kills too many or has too many complaints against him and is fired/told to resign.
Unfit asshole migrates down the “police ladder” to suburban police department, and bad behavior continues.
Unfit asshole is eventually shown the door in the suburban police department, and then joins the local county Sheriff’s Dept.
Unfit asshole fails in Sheriff’s Dept. and is canned/told to resign.
Unfit asshole either moves to a small outstate Sheriff’s Dept. or tiny barely incorporated city Police dept.
or Unfit asshole moves out of state and starts the sequence all over again.
Rinse, Repeat.
With some stops through Blackwater merc, mall security guard, or private eye, yep.
Ok, I do have some information from the ground, where my colleague lives in Kenosha (where this all happened).
Blake was breaking up a fight between two women - that was the domestic disturbance. He went into his SUV after he, apparently, had already been tased. His kids were in the car.
The Governor of Wisconsin has already called this out as needing investigation. Blake is still alive and in hospital. Witnesses indicate Blake was unarmed. There is video of the altercation.

In addition, colleague’s husband is a vice-principal of a private school in the area - the building was broken into.

"Jacob Blake was shot in the back multiple times, in broad daylight, in Kenosha. Kathy and I join his family, friends and neighbors in hoping earnestly that he will not succumb to his injuries,” Evers says opening up his statement. “While we do not have all the details yet, what we know for certain is he is not the first Black man or person to have been shot or injured or mercilessly killed at the hands of individuals in law enforcement in our state or in our country.”
We stand with all those who have and continue to demand justice, equity, and accountability for Black lives in our country—lives like those of George Floyd, of Breonna Taylor, Tony Robinson, Dontre Hamilton, Ernest Lacy, and Sylville Smith. And we stand against excessive use of force and immediate escalation when engaging with Black Wisconsinites.
I have said all along that although we must offer our empathy, equally important is our action. In the coming days, we will demand just that of elected officials in our state who have failed to recognize the racism in our state and our country for far too long.”
The cop is a murderer… seven shots at close range. But anyway, the way that Republicans see it this is nothing but goods news, not only a black guys got shot, but there will more riots and they believe that benefits them politically as scares the crap out of white voters.
