A criminal investigation into former President Donald Trump’s attempts to overturn the 2020 election results in Georgia is ramping up as prosecutors are set to seek subpoenas for documents and witnesses related to their investigation of the former president.
What is most striking to me about this story is another story also on TPM’s page about Georgia Governor Kemp grovelling to Trump. Or to put another way, there is no honor among sleazebags.
On the one hand Kemp is kissing Trump’s ass encouraging Trump to run for president and on the other he is part of a course of action to put Trump in jail.
