Talk about being hung out to dry.

Trump is going to go apeshit about this. He is going to try to pardon him or send ICE to rescue him.

If it was the officer in command, then I’m fine with it.

So tonight we get to watch various businesses burned to the ground in Louisville. Because drama.

This needs to happen whenever warranted in order to force a systemic change in police conduct and practices.

Yes, and while we’re at it we should double down on putting an end to prostitution. Everyone remember the little engine that could!!

No, it wasn’t. It was an officer who was accused of multiple rapes of drunk women he’d driven home while doing details at bars. But basically, it appears the charges are as a result of firing wildly into other apartments. He’s the one LMPD had already decided to cut loose. Nobody is getting charged with the Breonna’s death.

It’ll look good on their résumé if they apply for a job in Louisiana.

Essentially this wholly sanctions Breonna’s murder by charging only the cop who fired into her neighbors’ apartments — in other words, firing and killing Breonna was “fine”. Disgusting.

Not even charged for shooting into her house, only the adjoining homes. Note what is missing
The occupants of those apartments were identified by initials. None of them were BT — Breonna Taylor. That means the grand jury didn’t find that Hankison wantonly fired into her apartment.
This is majot bullshit

This is not going to go down well.

I anticipate serious blowback, not all of it peaceful.

Yea that’s why they boarded up the whole town before anouncement. They knew that shit would not flush easily

I don’t know. We’ve known it for six months. We’ve just been waiting for the Uncle Tom Attorney General to tell us what we already knew. It really is no surprise to people who live here, and the entire city is shutdown, boarded up, and on high alert. It could go either way.

I picture Trumptards hijacking the peaceful protests, and turning it into a riot.

Standard GOP Playbook.

There was never any chance the cops were going to be charged with any form of homicide here. They executed a legal warrant, got shot at, and returned fire. The whole situation was deeply fucked up on all kinds of things, but those basic facts would not result in homicide charges anywhere in the country.

Yup. As long as the “John” and the pimp are charged. Target the John, problem disappears.

I’ve gotten a lot of shit for saying this very thing. Now, the cops who lied to a judge to obtain the warrant, put the wrong address on the warrant, were apparently part of some larger scheme to terrorize poor people into moving out of the neighborhood in order to gentrify it, now those fuckers could’ve and should’ve faced involuntary manslaughter charges. They set the whole thing up including their fellow officers.

ONE COP did not fire the “over 20 Shots” all by himself.

Breonna was shot 5 times, by multiple guns.

This is a “whitewash” in the worst sense of the word.
