Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) encouraged President Donald Trump to say things about a fatal respiratory virus that are actually based on science instead of a “hunch.”
Awesome! Now do climate change, evolution, vaccinations, family planning…
You don’t get to pick and choose when you want to believe the science. If the data is clear, it’s clear. Until and unless further studies disproves it.
If you want to know why Trump tells lies, this is why …
… sometimes if you say something untrue you can get a headline, a dek, and a two-paragraph lede repeating your lie only to have it debunked further down. pic.twitter.com/MZyb4MnuIC
“Now this is just my hunch, but based on a lot of conversations with a lot of people that do this, because a lot of people will have this, and it’s very mild,” he told Hannity. “They’ll get better very rapidly, they don’t even see a doctor, they don’t even call a doctor, you never hear about those people.”
It’s unfortunate a President is practicing medicine without a license, and giving extremely poor advice at that. It’s unfortunate he can’t be sued for malpractice, because some people will take him seriously and needlessly suffer.
Since Professor Irwin Corey aka the “World’s Foremost Authority on Everything” is deceased, Trump, the man who knows more about health care than anyone else should have no problem.
