Senate Judiciary chair Lindsey Graham (R-SC) pledged on Sunday to subpoena the two whistleblowers at the heart of the House’s impeachment inquiry against President Donald Trump and force them to testify in public.

I love how they pick and choose who does and does not have to respond to a subpoena.

Lindsey Graham is engaging in witness intimidation, and he knows it. They lodge a complaint. Evidence will confirm or deny their charges. There is no need to betray the law protecting whistle-blowers.

Yep. Donald got him on a golf course in October '17 and Lindsey flipped IN ONE DAY.

Tony Soprano loved golf courses, for the same reason.

I wish he felt as strongly about getting Trump, McGahn, Kushner, Sessions, Trump Jr., and others to testify under oath with penalty of perjury. I imagine that would clear things up pretty quickly.

“We’re trying to find out about a whistleblower,” Trump toldreporters last week.”

And, right on cue #LapdodLindsay delivers. Whistleblower protection? Not on my watch!

Don’t worry, Leningrad Lindsey. Moscow Mitch has already beat you to it. He’s raising money by guaranteeing he’ll fix the jury.

Valerie Plame 2.0. Trying to “out” our CIA officers, putting their lives and the lives of everyone they’ve ever come into contact with overseas in danger.

Is there really no level of treason that’s beneath these people?

Lindsay Graham promises to use every ounce of his enormous power as chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee to make sure that the whistleblower is retaliated against.

This is pretty much now the official Republican position: Law for thee, but not for me.

Johnson, Graham, and really the entire Republican Party are going to war against the FBI and CIA, because they perceive that’s what their base is demanding or because they have their own skeletons that need to stay buried. There’s going to be a reckoning soon, and the fact that the hardcore, incorrigible part of the base is probably less than 30% doesn’t bode well for them.

The Republicans who took to the airwaves today have no dignity or self-respect. I have to assume they’re smart enough to know the real story -even Johnson - the accidental whistleblower.

See, I told y’all in the other thread that the Senate trial wouldn’t be a quick acquittal vote. They’re all going to want their time in the TV spotlights for sputtering outrage and revenge like this.

I wish I knew enough about the various whistleblower protection laws to know if Lindsey can’t legally subpoena a whistleblower in the intelligence community for public testimony. Lindsey is a tool, but he isn’t dumb like some of this crew. He may have already researched this before opening his mouth about it.

And you know what? While whistles are blowing, I think the IC would do the nation a good turn if they exposed what Don Cornholeone has on Lindsey. My guess has always been child porn. But by basically calling for the WBs to be shot, I think the IC needs to do a little digging on this festering pustule. Just my two cents.
