Senate Judiciary Committee chair Lindsey Graham (R-SC) defended his investigation into 2020 candidate Joe Biden on Monday after Biden, with whom Graham has a decades-long friendship, slammed the senator for the probe.

Graham also addressed Biden’s assertion that Trump “is now essentially holding power over him that even the Ukrainians wouldn’t yield to.”
“Don’t worry about me. I’m fine, Joe,” the senator said.
I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again; it isn’t that anyone has any sort of hold over Graham, or is blackmailing him or anything like that. This is simply who Graham is–a craven political opportunist who prizes his own hold on power above any ideology, ethical standard, or personal relationship he may have. He is a sniveling worm crawling on his belly through Washington’s dirtiest and darkest corners, wriggling his spineless body into the narrowest rhetorical crevasses.
So he’s going to announce the investigation into Trump’s embracing Erdogan while there’s that little matter of Trump Towers Istanbul, I presume…
Graham has succeeded in being a historical figure.
As despicable as Graham is, no one will ever forget him. And it does not matter if he cares or not.
On the matter of United States Senate corruption, Graham will forever be tied to that phenomenon…by placing himself in the spotlight

It’s not a senator’s job to do dirty work for a president. Congress is a co-equal branch. The president is his peer, not his boss. Those tapes they have on Miz Lindsey must be something.

Though saying this might be suggesting that Graham favors (political) sex acts, it’s rather interesting that he doesn’t remember that he wasn’t so submissive to Trump in 2016.

That clarified, then we must concede that Linseed Graham clearly is fully culpable for his endeavors.
