While Graham remains a staunch Trump defender, the break with Trump and Republicans was significant.

Looks like Lindsey is trying to steal Susy’s flag…

Schiff gets subpoenaed, maybe Graham would be next. Protecting himself?

Republicans and Trump alike are now pushing for the House to impeach him so the proceedings can move over to the Senate, where the GOP thinks Trump will get a “fair trial”.

Fixed.

He might have a tough time getting it away from Susy. She is going to need it badly in 2020. They have been running ads for her in Maine displaying that flag for months.

Instead of harping on their belief in a sham impeachment process, Republicans and Trump alike are now pushing for the House to impeach him so the proceedings can move over to the Senate, where the GOP thinks Trump will get a fair trial.

Here we go again!

A fair trial is the last thing they want. What they want is a rigged trial.

The funny thing is, the GOP would never know what hit them with someone like Schiff testifying. They think everyone is as stupid and conspiracy-invested and living in the FOX bubble as they are.

The United States Senate does not control Pelosi. Moscow M. was described by Robert Reich last night as a thug who would do everything possible to rig any Senate “trial” to clear Trump.

Correct.

So what happens before that neither Graham nor Moscow have control of this, no matter what they do.

Fair trial, my ass. So #moscowmitch can sweep this giant pile of evidence under his grim reaper themed novelty rug.

I guess Graham is terrified of the house Issuing a subpoena for his phone records.

Well he certainly doesn’t want anyone digging around in his closet disturbing all the bones.

More likely protecting Ron Johnson and the rest to went to Moscow on July 4, 1918. I really want Nadler to subpoena RoJo.

ETA. Ermm. Should be July 4, 2018.

Thank You. Or “what they refer to as a fair trial”. Journalism school isn’t what it used to be.

I do hope there’s some follow up going on with Nunez though.

And I’d bet that Graham, who’s more characterless than stupid, has that in mind. I doubt there’s a more formidable intellect, communicator, or moral voice in Congress.

“When members start subpoenaing each other as part of oversight, the whole system breaks down. …"

There it is.

Protecting Nunez is Protecting Trump.

This is Lindsey smart enough to see Trump and Company haven’t thought this through.

This, 110%. Schiff kicked their dumb asses around for two solid weeks of public hearings, and they still think having him testify would be some great win for Der Fuhrer. But for the high probability that Schiff will be the lead impeachment manager, I would say that he should walk over to the Senate and demand to be heard if the R’s fail to subpoena him.

“I don’t have any desire to subpoena Adam Schiff. We’re not going to do that,” Graham said, according to several reporters.

“I don’t have any desire to subpoena Adam Schiff. We’re not going to do that because that would mean putting Devin Nunes under oath,” Graham said, according to several reporters.
