Graham Makes Another Attempt To Dodge Grand Jury Testimony

The one over riding drive of these folk is to be reelected. I have said that many times. It’s thee most important thing out ranking almost anything else.

Ain’t it great, how the “Law and Order” asshats will stick out their chests when an unarmed black man is shot by racist cops and say, “He should have cooperated!” and “If he was innocent, why did he run?”,
but when it’s their ass in a sling they refuse to cooperate and run as hard as they can.

I’d call Lady G a pansy, but that would be redundant.

It’s times like these when we really need a Larry Flynt to offer a bounty to anyone who will expose the Belle of the Bawl’s plethora of peccadillos. We know he’s owned, the only question is by whom?

I’d bet the answer could be found in a safe at Met-a-Lardo.

Have there ever been this many court cases associated with a one term administration? Republicans, after packing the courts with the dregs for the last decade, now have the strategy of just playing the system like a slot machine until they get the lineup they are looking for.

Sen Graham should have his staff look up the Streisand Effect.

Since when is it a Senator from South Carolina’s job to call the Secretary of State for Georgia and question their vote counting process? It ain’t. It’s none of Grahams fucking business how Georgia counts votes. Graham need to get back to his number 1 jobs being Trumpy’s fluffer.

so far as he’s concerned, he spoke therefore it was privileged. He has been learning from his master, the defeated one.

Donald the former guy deserves to be locked in his basement room with his documents. He can play at being POTUS and be a BIG DEAL in his own mind as long as that basement room is padlocked and he has no phone.
As a man he is despicable
as president, I can’t describe how bad he was
So in general the best description was this

There has to be a crime/fraud exception to a senator hiding criminal activity behind the “Speech and Debate” clause.

Be nice if we could bill 'em for all of the wasted court and judge time.

There ought to be an extra charge added for trying to use Speech and Debate as an excuse. If it is found to be not applicable, he should face censure and a criminal charge for attempting it in the first place. I am sure it is not in his Oath of Office that he be in on Sedition and Coup planning or helping carry out any part of either, nor meddling with free and fair elections and coercion of election officials.

I can still call him a dick though right?

No one’s a dick, no one is any of the choice four letter words people like to toss around that involve genitals. Let’s play nice and adhere to TPM’s standards about language. Yes, Virginia, there are standards and they’re available for one and all to read.

It’s almost as if he doesn’t want to be under oath.

Only "for any speech or debate in either House they shall not be questioned in any other place” is actually the Speech or Debate clause. All the stuff about being privileged from arrest is inapplicable to Senator Graham’s current predicament. So the only textualist question is whether he’s being questioned for any speech or debate in either house, which he plainly wasn’t with respect to his communications with Drumpf and Meadows and Raffensperger and such.
