Graham Claims ‘Not Guilty’ Vote In Impeachment Trial Is ‘Growing’

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) says he remains confident that ex-President Donald Trump will be let off the hook in his second Senate impeachment trial even after the House impeachment managers on Wednesday unveiled disturbing new videos of the deadly Capitol insurrection that Trump provoked on January 6.

But I don’t remember any of these House managers saying a damn thing when they were trying to break into my house and going after Susan Collins and spitting on all of us.

LOL…wut?? Was spitting something happening in his bedroom?

Graham is being blackmailed on something, and he’s Trump’s co-conspirator. He tried to shake down the Georgia Secretary of State to fraudulently change the votes, remember?

On his secret, that will come out some day. It’s a guarantee. I hope Graham gets charged and convicted for his fraudulent attempt to change the election. He needs to face personal ruin and prison.

It’s sad when you try for the Obi-Wan Kenobi “If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine,” but you’re really just an old prune in a bathrobe.

We all know what happened in the Capitol was terrible.

And, as far as Donald was concerned, totally spontaneous. See the tent that spontaneously appeared?

I was talking to my younger brother yesterday. He’s pretty dialed in to politics. Reads newspapers and magazine articles. We talk all the time about politics.
Lindsey’s Graham’s tweet about Trump destroying the party and then his sudden about face and pathetic embrace of Trump came up. I said Trump must really have something on him, but I doubted it was because he was gay.
He said, “Lindsey Graham is gay?!” He lives in Boston, so he doesn’t know a lot about his personal life.

Does South Carolina?

Don’t apologize to South Carolina. They voted him into office on a routine basis. He represents the dominant opinion in South Carolina. Make no mistake about that.

Did anyone really think republicans, outside a very very few exceptions, would convict a fellow republican for anything!!!

A truly vicious little toad. Too bad they attacked the country but damn, it’s ALL ABOUT ME AND MY BOY TRUMP.

And there’s Iwanker, pleading with her father to call off the insurrection.

Graham might want us to think that, but yesterday was riveting television, and a great day for the house managers in the court of public opinion. In the long run we voters are the folks who really matter.

Lindz has been in LaLaLand for a long time.

His relationship to reality is tenuous at best.

Everything about this thing makes me shudder in disgust. His every gesture and pronouncement sounds like it’s out of a B movie; a bad actor on the national stage. As his desperation deepens he has become more shrill and his gesticulating more pronounced.

Edit. Used pronounce twice in a paragraph; slaps wrist. :joy:

Or… or, like most of the GOP he just doesn’t give a shit about anything but maintaining power, never ‘surrendering an inch’ to democrats and forcing conservative ideas on the country no matter what.

It’s like everyone who thinks Republican politicians are being blackmailed can’t seem to fathom the idea they are just shitty opportunist with no principles outside of ‘beating liberals at all cost’ to begin with…
