And Republicans are the party of “law and order”?

Is Lindsay worried about pleading the 5th?

Indeed, however you forgot that Law and Order applies to others, not them.

Of course he didn’t.

This is news how?

Did the LEOs come after him, put him in cuffs and drag him to the hearing?

If not, none of this is news. It’s a story. It’s not news.

Only when it suits them and their narrative.

“Last month, a county judge in Georgia ruled that Graham must testify before the special grand jury in Willis’ investigation.”

So Lindsey Graham is now a fugitive?

I read the headline too quickly and wondered what do we need to know about Graham’s balls other than they’re missing.

If I had been FiIrST however I would have posted this breaking news. Orange evidently got a subpoena, ignored it, so then the raid.

Just throw the little fucking fluffer in jail. I’m sick of these assholes flanting the law.

Was I just always naive about how “serious” a subpoena really is or is this a new thing where people just blow them off with seemingly no consequences?

Only in theory and in talking points. L and O are never exactly put into use.

Trump received a subpoena this spring in search of documents that federal investigators believed he had failed to turn over earlier in the year, when he returned boxes of material he had improperly taken with him upon moving out of the White House, three people familiar with the matter said.

So then a raid went down to get the stuff.

My notes have lindseymat scheduled for august 23rd, not august 11th. I guess he could have been rescheduled, but it is extremely rare for court to reschedule something to earlier in the calendar.

Graham, a Republican from South Carolina, received a subpoena that was issued on July 26 and orders him to appear before the special grand jury to testify on Aug. 23, his lawyers said in a court filing.

Why would he be concerned? Donnie, our nation’s model of courage and rectitude, did so 490 times in a single day’s interview.
Surely, he can be an irreproachable model for likeminded individuals!

Rudy can’t make it either. Sure is hard to get to Atlanta these days.

This makes Lindsey Graham a fugitive!!!

I really like the response a judge gave to Rudi when he said he was unable to fly to GA to be deposed. But Graham’s going the mumbo jumbo legalese route as reason to not show.

@tsp Where are those bloodhounds when you need them?

Perhaps this was the hearing challenging the subpoena to appear? That was moved from SC?
