On the other hand you got TN Gov Lee trying the both sides game. Stay home, go to work…

Again…if a single one of them would advocate ‘OPENING THE ECONOMY!’ along with testing, testing, testing with actual available TESTS they might have something. Otherwise, they are spitting in the wind.

Bill Lee has never seen a fence he couldn’t straddle.

Testing only if you got symptoms, otherwise why are you here is the question. So much for everyone who wants to get test can. Did not Repugs shout and mock someone else with a similar remark. Now crickets.

When we get to the pandemic’s second wave, I suspect we’re all gonna be kept up nights by the sound of the internets being scrubbed clean.

A Mich. Democratic congressman complained earlier this year that Flint’s water is still not safe to drink, so in my opinion Whitmer should be taking care of her state rather than auditioned for VP

Really good point, especially when we read that Italy is still gearing up with more ventilators, and German is extending its worldwide travel warnings in strong anticipation of yet another wave of COVID infections. Meanwhile our (mostly) Republican Governors, with the “president’s” blessing are scrambling to get back to “normal.” They might just as well be whistling into the wind.

Toomey, widely suspected to be gunning for the governor’s mansion in 2022

HOLY SHIT… I might have to move out of the state… Toomey is a duplicitous asshole… a tRump toady extraordinaire. No One would make a better governor than Toomey

That’s what she’s doing.

Other people are touting her for VP.

Toomey must be tired of being one of the most feckless, ineffectual members of the Senate and is hoping to be PA’s next Tom Corbett; a feckless, ineffectual Republican governor. Just become a Washington lobbyist, Pat, and stay the hell out of Harrisburg.

Toomey is not our Senator in PA.
He is The Club For Growth Senator, and a Trump sucker, living in PA.

It would be lovely to flip that senate seat, one way or another. I hate Toomey even more because he looks exactly like a neighbor, who is a vicious asshole and a meth-head.

In a way, it’s nice to see some of these governors getting into the spotlight. There are some good people out there who deserve attention on a national stage. Of course, there are also the usual blockheads as well.

Sometimes people find their better selves in a crisis. Clearly the Republican are still searching for it.

I think the headline should read Democratic Governors are having a Moment, etc. etc.

I have people in New York. We watch Cuomo every day, and he’s always good. Today, he was just brilliant.

Fed Rage Tweeting Warning has been issued…

Fed chair says this is the worst economy in history

How bad is the coronavirus economy? The worst ever, says Fed Chairman Jerome Powell.

“We are going to see economic data for the second quarter that is worse than any data we have seen for the economy,” Powell said. “There are direct consequences of the disease and measures we are taking to protect ourselves from it.”

It’s good to want things, but pretending that the virus will just go away is stupid. But then these are Republicans, so I repeat myself.
