Of course Barr won’t allow prosecutors to pursue this, being corrupt to the core both morally and criminally (and subjecting him to potential future criminal charges unless Trump pardons him, which he likely will but which would be a huge shit stain on Barr’s legacy as if there wasn’t one already). But never mind that, this doesn’t help politically, in either the impeachment trial or the run-up to the election, which is what most matters now. This on top of the Ukraine investigating Trump announcement today. It all adds up. Dems may not be able to take him down with a single yuge shot, but a thousand small cuts just might.
