Because he threatened to tattle.
Nice when they expose themselves.
You have to read this with the Republican mindset…to them, being a RINO is the worst thing in the world, even more than being a Democrat, as RINOs are traitors to the religious cause that underlies the whole idea of MAGA. It’s actually a huge insult, aimed at the guy who is constantly calling out anyone who says the tiniest thing against him as a RINO. At least some fraction of Republicans, even MAGA nuts, believes in the Constitution, so making it clear Trump wants to throw it out and be installed as dictator will give them some pause…maybe not for long, but it will. It’s an effective statement by Romney.
How long is the presence of this seditionist going to be tolerated in Congress?
I’m sure that Kevin McCardboard will give him a very stern talking at.
You bet. If they can prove they are a Confederate Rebel, then they are off the hook. Since they weren’t part of the Confederacy, then hit the road MF’ers.
Like Kanye West aand Nick Fuentes, Paul Gosar is an imbecile.
There are probably other mechanisms to get rid of em, but I’m again shocked that someone who strangely won his case, would want to shoot for round 2.
The man with the perma-scowl.
Anyone ever see him smile?
Oh yeah, I bet he was smiling on January 6th, 2021.
“Gosar is plainly betraying that oath.”
Dear gawd, say it isn’t so!
And yet, to Dan, the question of whether a vice president had the power to unilaterally reject electors, was an easy one. While Mike Pence struggled with it for many weeks.
Quayle served as a sort-of sounding board for Vice President Mike Pence in the final days of the administration as President Donald Trump leaned hard on him to overturn the 2020 presidential election.
The back-and-forth is documented in “Peril,” a soon-to-be released book by Washington Post reporters Bob Woodward and Robert Costa.
Here’s the key bit:
“Over and over, Pence asked if there was anything he could do.
“‘Mike, you have no flexibility on this. None. Zero. Forget it. Put it away,’ Quayle told him.
“Pence pressed again.
“‘You don’t know the position I’m in,’ he said, according to the authors.
“‘I do know the position you’re in,’ Quayle responded. ‘I also know what the law is. You listen to the parliamentarian. That’s all you do. You have no power.’”
So how can Gosar legitimately take an Oath to the Constitution when he’s sworn in for the next Congressional session when he clearly agrees that it should be suspended and/or terminated?
If there was ever a case of the man inside visiting the man on the surface, that is him. All the ugliness of a insane and vicious soul dancing about that face.
And that is not just an in opportune moment in a photo, he always looks like that. And if he is smiling, he looks even more demented.
A good interviewer should ask him, if he agrees with Trump, how does that square with the oath he took. Would enjoy watching the tap dancing around that one.
Doubtful. He’d attack the reporter for asking a “gotcha” question, spew a bunch of lies about election fraud, and then stalk off without addressing the question.
Damning, maybe, but not very enjoyable to watch.
The Trump VP sweepstakes is going to bring out an all new level of sycophantic treason.
I dunno.
Watching them get hit with a verbal bucket of water and melting down on screen is actually entertaining at times.
Proctologists refuse his business.
Gosar has broken his oath of office and needs to be expelled from the House immediately. Gosar is an embarrassment to the House, his oath, to Arizona and most of all his family who a couple years ago disowned him.
You hit the nail on the head. He nakedly betrays his oath to support and defend the Constitution and is not charged with a criminal offense. And his Q-crazy followers will still vote for him.
