A trio of Republican leaders expressed excessive support for Attorney General Bill Barr Tuesday, but took pains to lavish praise on President Donald Trump as well to avoid the appearance of cosigning Barr’s recent criticism of the President.
With those contortions, it’s no surprise that Republicans can go fuck themselves.

No contortions needed. Barr’s “bravery” doesn’t mean he won’t stop acting in concert with Trump, It provides cover as he destroys the DOJ’s independence and basic functionality just the way he and Trump want.

This is bullshit. There’s no war between Trump and Barr. Barr just stopped for a brief moment to catch his breath after kissing Trump’s ass non-stop for so long. His tongue by now is all the way up there once again. A sad spectacle, my fellow citizens. A sad, sad, spectacle.

Rest assured once Donald is out of office they will come to their senses and whatever centrist we elect can start working across the aisle to get the country’s business done. All will be forgotten and we can go back to blaming the deficit on Democrats, cutting Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and other social programs to balance the budget, good times.
