I haven’t heard one of the “need to hear from the whistle blower” crowd tell us what they think the whistleblower could reveal that hasn’t already been revealed multiple times over. What is it they want to ask? “Are you now, or have you ever been, a Never Trumper?”

Trump solicited a bribe.
It doesn’t matter if he changed his mind, just as it doesn’t matter if the bribe materialized or not.
Asking for the bribe was a felony.

My impession of him on Friday was that this is what Jordan would sound like if the volume were moderated. His mind was locked away somewhere while he read the talking points with threatening anger.

In simple language we didn’t offer aid to Ukraine for the Ukrainians alone. It was for us as well. Containing Russia is paramount to our security. What Trump did was put USA national security in line behind his political needs. None of Nunes’s or Jordan’s BS is going to conceal that.

The guy’s call for compliance was linked to what is essentially an unethical and maybe illegal call for the whistleblower’s ID. It is conditional, which means that the person asking does not want it otherwise…
