Gravitating to the adults in the room. Not unusual, but it’s about time.

“Cotton had similarly voiced support for immediate cash-granting measures earlier in the day…”

Shouldn’t he be busy trying to drown government in a bathtub or something?

deaths overcome that, too

Cotton and company are discovering that social and political reality, as opposed to republican ideology and posturing, have a liberal bias.

Better late than never, BUT…
BIGLY BUT…action speaks louder than words…
40 RethugniCONS voted against the Coronavirus Stimulus.

In addition, they have enabled the MOST INCOMPETENT and IRRESPONSIBLE POTUS in history for far too long and after a rigged acquittal in his impeachment trial, they can’t contain him during his pandemic denials and irresponsibility!

Moreover, MoscowMitch is concerned more about judges…asking the older RethugniCON judges to retire early now so Trump can appointment more!

So BIGLY BUT…

Update:
More irresponsibility from the Trump Regime!

Of course they’re “floating” these plans in order to stall the legislation and strip out what they don’t like.

They depend on the gullible media to give them headlines like this in order to pull it off.

Fortunately, we all know it won’t last. And then at least something in our lives will make sense again.

Well Cotton… certainly doesn’t stop the Senate from passing broader measures which the House could add on to their bill.

Hence the need for Congressional Hearings.

Where’s my money?

Yes, but it’s vitally important that the government not take stock market with it.

They can be all kinds of liberal knowing full well Moscow Mitch will deep six all of it.

The point of all of this is that the GOP KNOWS that the public is in need. And that, at some point will be demanding answers.

Otherwise, Cotton would be saying to his constituents:

“Fuck Off. Deal with it.”

freaking reality-based bias ears its ugly head yet again, funny how it is almost always liberal that bias

I grew up in tRUmp land, woulda been easily identified as a trumpanzee through high school, then I moved out of the bubble to realize the threats I was taught to fear in my youth couldn’t give two shits about me and were not threats but human beings, then I realized things like magnitude of scale, and that tax breaks for really rich fucks were really tax burdens for me and those in my economic class, 'cause someones gotta pay for stuff, and if the rich aren’t paying for it, and corporations sure as fuck aren’t paying for it, then the chump holding the door (99.7% of everyone) is gonna havta foot the tab = instant self realized liberal, that and watching a buddy break with malaria while visiting a country with a single payer system and him not being bankrupted by it, meanwhile on this side of the pond I am paying ever increasing health care premiums AND covering the entire medical bill (therefore health insurance being useless in a real way)

I’m willing to accept that Mitt actually wants to help. Cotton is a racist cretin. Funny how they both sound positively socialistic.

Romney is not stupid, and he can read polls and knows where this is going.

Trump down by 4% in Ohio to Biden. (49-45%) - Marist. http://maristpoll.marist.edu/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/NBC-News_Marist-Poll_OH-NOS-and-Tables_2003150954.pdf (Note Bernie only leads 48-46%)

Trump down by 3% in AZ to Biden (46-43) - Monmouth - https://www.monmouth.edu/polling-institute/documents/monmouthpoll_az_031620.pdf/ (Note Bernie loses to Trump 43% to 44%)

Or Trump down 1% in AZ to Biden (47% to 46%) - Marist. http://maristpoll.marist.edu/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/NBC-News_Marist-Poll_AZ-NOS-and-Tables_2003160825.pdf (note Bernie loses to trump 45% to 48%).

And these don’t have Covid-19 baked into them. Biden is a real theat and kills the republicans down ballot, and they know they need to get ahead of the wave.
