It has become increasingly clear that the RethugliCONS are completely incapable of governing. They can’t pass bills, they seem to be anatomically incapable of standing up to the lying, cheating, dangerous, batshit crazy occupant of the White House, and they seem to hate this country and most of the people who live here. We’ve known this since at least 2008, when the blatant overt assault on this country began, because they could not abide a black man as President. They said so.

It became clearer in 2015 when they controlled the entire Legislature and all they could accomplish was making John Boehner cry and quit.

It became crystal clear in 2017 when, with control of both the Executive & both Legislative branches, all they could do was fight amongst themselves, and make Paul Ryan quit.

They can’t accomplish anything when they control all the levers. Because they aren’t interested in governing.

They are interested, however, in bankrupting our country and foisting “Conservative” judicial rulings on the good people of this country. That is all, and they have unfortunately been quite successful at that.

Other than that, if you aren’t a rich white man who is good at pretending to be a “Christian”, then screw you.

They will own this, their incompetence has been obvious to anyone who cares to see for quite some time. Public opinion will not be in their favor. The general population knows better. We’ve seen this bear out with the other stunts they’ve tried, such as government shutdowns. They don’t come out the other side looking like winners.

I am worried though that if senate republicans are willing to sabotage the economy before Trump loses, they will absolutely do everything in their power to mess up the economy once Biden wins. It’s crucial for Democrats to take over the senate.
