Not sure what to make of this. Why would anyone want to go back to the Insurrection Party when Biden is getting so much accomplished? Actually I know it’s primarily due to inflation but that’s more a result of the pandemic and supply chain problems.

Six months ago, they said inflation was transitory. It’s not looking that way at all and anyone who can read tea leaves will understand inflation will keep rising for the next few months. Energy may fall some, but not much else will. Since last October:
Rent is up11.4%
Used cars and trucks are up 26.4%
Steaks are up over 25%
Other meat, poultry and eggs are up 11.9%
Home prices are over 8%
Gasoline is up 49%
The middle of the country is experiencing much higher inflation than the coasts.
The reddest states have inflation of 7.5% or above.

Yeah, I am living the inflation life too. My point is to make Joe’s numbers improve, inflation needs to somehow be put in check. Coupled with passing BBB his polling should improve. Just glad it’s November 2021 not November 2022

I have some sympathy because I recognize that not everyone who lives in those areas, is a supporter of Drumpfuck.
If I didn’t give all my quarters to my kids I’d pass them along to these guys to call someone who cares, because I don’t. Do you?
These guys voted with their Dear Leader 92% of the time and they are still hated by the people who will kill their children to make their man child leader happy and the other guy look bad.
Everytime they hit play on their messages and hear “I’m going to kill you” I hope they hang up and say, “I did that” because they did. They can only blame themselves.

Exactly right. People lose sight of that – and all that it implies – very easily, because they want comity, or something. This impulse for comity is a kind of Achilles heal.

That’s really interesting. I had no idea inflation was so variable across the country.
I guess that’s why I haven’t really noticed prices going up - because around me, they haven’t really.
Did your source speculate as to why? Is it Euclidean distance from seaports? Wage increases being higher in states where min wage is the lowest? A direct effect of high covid rates (cumulative)?
