GOP Rep. Roasts Colleague As ‘Literal QAnon Lady’ In Group Text

Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) reportedly raked Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), who has openly boosted the bonkers “QAnon” conspiracy theory, over the coals in their group text with other freshmen GOP lawmakers on Tuesday.

Some people are crazy, but you all knew that.

Rep. Jason Crow: If members of Congress were somehow involved in the planning efforts of rioters, those members should be "expelled from Congress." He adds that those members should be prohibited from holding elected office and be "subject to criminal prosecution." @MSNBC

Definitely building to a reality here.

What’s the deal with this Nancy Mace? A freshman Republican congresswoman who isn’t batshit crazy and who pushes back against lies?

She’ll be primaried out of office by next May.

It cracks me up, in a slightly sad way, that there’s a GOP rep group text carrying on like I’m watching Mean Girls.

Anyway, let them fight. I’ve got a couple of hammers available if anybody wants to borrow them.

Am I wrong for hoping for a cat fight?

…and yet Mace will vote against impeachment. Her speech on the floor was awful, citing MLK to ‘both sides’ the violence. She sounds just like a typical conservative judge. Nancy Mace represented the 55% of white women who voted for Trump well. Disgraceful.

Mace still exhibits that maddening (mostly Republican) twitch of equivocating, but she was pretty good at condemning the Sedition Caucus in her interviews yesterday. She might actually be a good-faith player in the House for the next two years.

ETA: A commenter just posted that she came out against impeachment so let me replace what I just said with a hearty, “Fuck you.” If she decides to vote Yay later today, I think I’ll still let this statement stand.

And some are exponentially crazier than the ones you know are crazy.

Interesting you should mention that. Here’s a a video that indicates that there was some form of inside knowledge.

I’m not a lawyer and I know the T word is being thrown around an awful lot, but I honestly wonder if this isn’t actual, verifiable, prosecutable, convictable treason.

You love to see it.

The lesson is: It is too easy to be rich in America.

Yeah but she did just have her few minutes on the floor today and came out against impeachment, so there’s that.

Yep. You may think she’s nuts Nancy, but you’re in the same boat, paddling in the same direction. Fuck off.

Treason is hard to prove. It requires two eye witnesses. Insurrection isn’t.
