A House Republican admitted twice during an interview with CNN Friday morning that various aspects of President Trump’s call with Ukraine and the White House’s handling of the situation should “probably” be investigated further.
Overreacting? M’kay. I mean, it’s not like this is related to national security or anything. It’s not like extortion of a foreign leader using taxpayer funds is a big deal or anything.
I think you meant to say “Democratic scandals are all that that matters to the GOP”. Republicans can do whatever they want, they are the Chosen People to lead this land to prosperity (for the 0.1%) or something like that.
We’ll get plenty of this, the Republicans will be desperate to keep the Democrats from investigating anything because it will hurt their 2020 results. It’s not going to help them, this is too clear of an issue for people outside Trump’s base to let it go, and there is far more stuff to be found that will make it worse.
Especially if they were simultaneously conducting an illicit affair with a (vampire) bat-faced aide to a Wisconsin Representative, one that was common knowledge among virtually everyone on Capitol Hill, while expressing both his disgust and his moral superiority.
