GOP PAC Runs Ad Featuring Burning Photo Of AOC During Dem Debate

During the first commercial break of ABC News’ Democratic presidential debate Thursday evening, at least one Sinclair ABC station in the Washington, D.C. area ran an advertisement that featured a photo of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) being set on fire.

I think calling it “racist” is a minimization of the evilness and ugliness of the whole thing. It limits the scope of discussion.

AOC really does get under their skin.

If Ms. Heng can’t understand the difference between the genocidal Khmer Rouge and Social democracies such as European and Nordic parties of the left then it appears that she must be a graduate of the history program at Trump university.

I live in Northern Virginia and our ABC station ran the ad – it was abhorrent. Trump and his minions are going to make the Willie Horton ad look like a beautiful day in the neighborhood with Mister Rogers by the time the 2020 election is over.

Normal, intelligent, Americans will be turned off by this outrage. Boy are we in trouble.

Is this all the Republican party has?
Is there even one ounce of intelligence left in the Party?
All they seem to have is threats and violence.

And the Repubs have the audacity to consistently paint themselves as victims. Such BS.

They seem nice.

The republicans are cruel, racist, greedy, exclusionary, violent and misogynist. Other than that, they’re fantastic.

Unfortunately, we “normal, intelligent” Americans are in the minority.

I quite like AOC, but calling it racist is just lazy. Same thing with responding to any attack on a woman as sexist.

First, you’re immediately debating whether or not it’s racist.

Second, you’ve now got 30% of the people viewing it who are fine with it being racist, and another 20% who don’t particularly care of it’s racist.

She could point out the successes of socialism. She could have looked into this PAC and associated them with fascism (just a wild guess there). [

But no, straight to the lazy response.

I understand what you are saying, but the absence of twitter won’t make the Elizabeth Heng’s of the world disappear.

She’s someone riding in the fast lane to wingnutgrift stardom, and she’ll get there, twitter or not.

This is career that predates twitter by decades.
