GOP Nominee Hiding Election Denialism

This post is a combo of responding to yours (a post I would have echoed) and the Rail Strike.

(1) This addled old man gets too much attention, He should be covered like the weather: mundane provided there is no emergency.

(2) This is a major feat for Walsh and Biden. It is what a grown-up would appreciate and there would be benefits for Joe and the public. Trump “politics” trades on resentment and crimes

Back when Flipper was on the air-- Florida (Miami specifically) was a cool place to grow up. I was between 6 and 10yrs old when the show was on Channel 6 NBC. The Miami Seaquarium for a number of years would bring Flipper to the NFL Dolphins home games (at the Orange Bowl)-- and Flipper would cavort in a giant above ground swimming pool located behind one end zone.

Flipper would do a routine of flips whenever the Dolphins scored-- which wasn’t often in the early years. This started in 1966 through 1968. Then again in the late-70s to early-80s.

Maybe it was just Miami. But it was a cool place back then.

Re: Jan 6th Committee choosing to not cooperate with the DOJ-

  • The committee is reportedly worried about people who would potentially get indicted in the DOJ’s probe getting access to the transcripts before their trial.

I don’t understand what that means exactly, or how it matters. Is the committee saying the indicted person would be able then to review their own earlier testimony to avoid perjury, or would they also get access to the testimony of others?

If anyone smart can explain it, I’d be grateful!

“Crimes”? No, at least none that are out in the daylight at this time … but she certainly has walked a path of questionable judgment … a path that strikes many experts as being packed with several rulings highly inconsistent with prevailing judicial standards …
If it comes out that Trump or some agent of Trump, in any way, shape or form, so much as whispered the classic Trump “I need you to do me a favor” … and she has not mentioned it… then…her pattern of excessive accommodations for Trump and granting of Trump requests for time consuming actions would become very serious breaches of ethics… and disqualifying.

Short people got no reason
Short people got no reason
Short people got no reason
To live

They got little hands
And little eyes
And they walk around
Tellin’ great big lies
They got little noses
And tiny little teeth
They wear platform shoes
On their nasty little feet

Well, I don’t want no short people
Don’t want no short people
Don’t want no short people
'Round here

Hasn’t this always been the problem with fraudulent accusers of election fraud. They are never on the record what they’re gonna do differently from the prior batch of loyal, activist, donating, fund raising Republican election officials who also made it their sacred mission to make sure thir elections were unsullied by monkey business that they imagined Democrats were going to try.

When this new batch discovers, just like the prior batch and every batch before them, that a couple dozen hotheads per state tried to illegally vote twice at their dead mothers’ houses and that was the extent of it, then what. Do they see it as their mission to lie, or not!

From the article:

Stawovy reportedly claimed he knew the Dairy Queen workers and they would “vouch” for him. The manager told police that he was in the store earlier that same day and just put $120 on the counter and said it was a tip for “non-Democrats,” but other than that, they don’t know who he is.

I saw that interview, but I didn’t think that was exactly what she said. She said they’d received texts, but not how many, or if they are comprehensive in regards to the total SS and DHS texts sought.

I hope you are all right and I’m wrong, I’m just a very cautious Yankee.

NY Attorney General May Sue Trump After Rejecting Settlement Offer - The New York Times (nytimes.com)
The New York attorney general’s office has rebuffed an offer from Donald J. Trump’s lawyers to settle a contentious civil investigation into the former president and his family real estate business, setting the stage for a lawsuit that would accuse Mr. Trump of fraud, according to three people with knowledge of the matter.

The attorney general, Letitia James, is also considering suing at least one of Mr. Trump’s adult children, the people said. Ivanka, Eric and Donald Trump Jr., have all been senior executives at Mr. Trump’s company, the Trump Organization.
