It’s a sort of catch-22. The reason we’d want to do that is so that the MSM doesn’t do what they’ve already done: reflexively attempt to undo the gains we made or the appearance of victory for the Dems with horrifyingly contra-factual, credulous, GQP-taint-licking reporting that spins it all in a bad light for Dems.

Right now they are playing Little Red Riding Hood innocently working hard for the American people to pass an infrastructure bill to fix bridges and roads for the good of America.
The Big Bad Wolfocrats are trying to pull some shenanigans and force a socialist-communist-agenda that involves broadband and other socialist-Muslim-radical secret sauce to force us all to accept a debt-crushing pork-barrel Critical Race Theories that will be saddled onto our children for centuries to come.
Republicans are trying to come across as honest players here and they are trying to frame Democrats as pulling some bullshit that will hurt us ALLL!!!1!!
