Only TFG could turn getting sued into another chance to chisel and grift.

. . . Record of achievement?
Seriously?
I didn’t see the DNC paying for Clinton’s legal fees re: Monica.
I didn’t see the DNC funding Hillary’s server responses.

Are random cash flows into and out of RNC coffers completely free of campaign finance laws? This makes sense for the RNC business-wise but is it legal for RNC to pay Drump’s random personal expenses?

I bet the entire GOP is afraid of what might happen if they refuse to pay his ‘personal’ lawyer bills.
Second bet: those lawyers would not get paid otherwise.

Third bet: those lawyers refused to take the cases unless the RNC committed to backstopping the payments.

They ain’t gonna raise money for the minions.

And the minions are the ones who are gonna bring down TFG.

No amount of money in the world will stop the indictments.

Imagine the uproar and outrage if the DNC had funded all of the post-presidency private legal bills the Clintons racked up because of Ken Starr’s prurient witch hunt.

Which would have been justified, because this is straight up kleptocratic theft, corruption on a scale that shocks when considered in the context of standard democratic norms. But the MSM just shrugs its shoulders and nods savvily because Republican corruption is just assumed and therefore Old News.

All part of Repubs moving past the 2020 election, right Kevin McCarthy?

Exactly. And the common minions are gonna run out of money and start singing.

Sounds like the GQP needs to set up yet another GoFuckYou site for the rubes.

He better count it as income. Because it surely is.

Can we get an expert opinion on this? How the @#$%@ can this be legal?

It’s legal. It’s just reportable as income to Trump and probably not a write off for the RNC, though I’m not entirely sure about that last part.

Wonder if the GQP will pay FAUX’s legal bills too?

Well that’s 1.6 MM that won’t be going to down-ballot candidates’ election coffers, so that’s good, right?

Shouldn’t the RNC be forced to change its name to the Trump Criminal Defense Fund at this point?

Also, if I were a Republican candidate for office, I might be upset that funding that should go to my campaign is instead, flowing to a billionaire (allegedly). I might also be upset were I a donor.

My hope is that some will try to talk their way through it, because that’s how felony criminal referrals happen.

Not sure about that, besides, doesn’t he have a billion dollar paper tax write-off he’s been using over the past 20 years?

Write offs are on one side of the ledger. Income is on the other. So it counts.
