On the heels of providing voter registration information online, Google has released a new tool, the “civic information API,” a software kit for apps developers allowing them to create third-party apps using Google’s collection of “comprehensive voting information for an individual U.S. address, including polling place, early vote sites, contests, and local election official contact information.”
