Google Accumulated $25M For Lobbying During FTC Probe | Talking Points Memo

Before Thursday’s announcement of Google’s settlement with the FTC, Google and its subsidiary Motorola accumulated $25 million and hired 12 firms to lobby on their behalf during the course of the 19-month-long investigation period, according to Politico. Google also reportedly courted lawmakers and influence groups on both sides of the aisle to help bolster its image.
