Gohmert Didn’t Get Anywhere Near $1M Goal For Texas AG Bid. Yet He Proudly Claimed He Did

Speaking of Texas, it is not hard to imagine that Republicans statewide have been watching the weather for the last few days and praying for everything to stay together.

I haven’t seen a photo lately, are you sure he doesn’t have six fingers on each hand?

Ask Ron Johnson, if you need the current exchange rate. He knows.

That’s some anti-capitalist socialist intervention crap right there.

Let the free market decide. Shouldn’t be up to the government to decide whether people freeze to death.

In reality, Gohmert only managed to raise about $27,000 in that 10-day window, per the campaign filings covering July 1 through Dec. 31, first reported by the [Texas Tribune](https://www.texastribune.org/2022/01/20/louie-gohmert-texas-attorney-general/).

I hate to brag folks, but you’re looking at a multimillionaire here. I’ve finally made it! Appreciate the congrats.

Vistra Corp. subsidiary Luminant on Wednesday asked the Railroad Commission of Texas, which regulates the state’s oil and gas industry, to prevent Energy Transfer LP from cutting off fuel to five Vistra power plants, which produce enough electricity to power 400,000 Texas homes, businesses and critical infrastructure such as hospitals and schools.

The companies under Energy Transfer, the pipeline company, have told Vistra that gas will stop flowing to five Vistra power plants on Monday unless Vistra pays Energy Transfer $21.6 million, according to the filing.

While many companies lost money during the storm, Energy Transfer made $2.4 billion.

Still, it’ll be good to get Gohmert out of the House. Let another claim the title of “Stupidest Rep.”

Well, most sane organizations would have a ‘silent’ period preceding the campaign, where a substantial part of the fund-raising goal would be pledged.

But they didn’t includes the matching donations from a secret diner that multiplied the donations by a factor of (checks math) 37! If you add that in then he totally met the goal, and that’s not including all the imaginary Monopoly money that he picked up too!

Gohmert is one of the prime examples that our political system has big issues, no one like that should be a member of Congress.

OT: Senior Advisor Ivanka hoisted by her own petard as she’s now obligated by the Presidential Records Act. Here’s Marcy to explain.

Does the primary for state officials run at the same time as feds? Can LG run for the AG nomination and congressional? Asking for a friend who thinks we may be losing this genius in D.C.

I was just wondering how, and if Gohmert ever managed to graduate grade school. He’s the absolute dumbest among a box of rocks.
