As I write this the world-wide death toll from SARS-CoV-2 is at least 101,732 and 5,820 of those dead are from New York city alone. All of this was avoidable if only the public health defense infrastructure had not been gutted by a willfully ignorant vindictive fool who was dead-set on removing a very necessary accomplishment of President Barack Obama.
