Flynn will be pardoned by then. This is more useful to expose DoJ corruption, before the election.

Thank you for the explanation! Thick as thieves though they may be, I’m of the opinion that extraordinary threats to justice calls for extraordinary measures in response.

They got a hold of Barr! He said, “wha la wumm wumm.”

Gleeson is awesome. He’s cutting through the fake neutrality the media continues to employ re: Trumpworld, and telling the awful truth. He deserves some love.

While I still hold Mueller in high regard as to his integrity, can you imagine what Mr. Gleeson would have done had he been Special Counsel?

I don’t think his machinations could be much more exposed than they are now. Having stated the obvious, it begs the question: To whom are you planning on assigning the task of arresting him and bringing him to justice?

Cannot unsee.

You forgot jail. This is obstruction of justice, no different from destroying evidence against a political crony. Jail for those involved, from the top, Barr, down, is required. Otherwise, it will continue when Republicons return to power.

Muller? Integrity? You do have a sense of humor.

Holy shit, that brief is burn-it-to-the-ground hot. It gives me joy to see the DOJ’s corruption being called out for exactly what it is.

It might be too hot to include in Cohen’s tell-some book, but I question whether Flynn’s illegal in-bed-edness with Turks and Russians wasnt actually the means of blackmailing him into joining the campaign. Flynn had a sweet gig and why else would he risk fucking it all up for a campaign nobody at the time thought he would win?

OT but relevant to corruption.

“The Treasury Department mysteriously started withholding parts of payments — nearly four years ago — meant to cover medical services for firefighters, emergency medical technicians and paramedics treated by the FDNY World Trade Center Health Program.”

Lawyers like precedent. John Mitchell represents a fine precedent. Many people are saying it.

When I was a baby, my nickname was “Jackie Gleeson!!” Wear it with pride!

(OK, it was Jackie Gleason because I was a fat, fat 10 month chortling baby. But still…Luv me some Gleeson today. To the moon, Baby!)

I don’t know why you say that.

John wouldn’t hurt a fly. Ask any mafioso.

There is clear evidence that the Government’s Motion to Dismiss the case against Defendant Michael T. Flynn rests on pure pretext. There is clear evidence that this motion reflects a corrupt and politically motivated favor unworthy of our justice system. In the face of all this, the Government makes little effort to refute (or even address) the evidence exposing its abuses—and the arguments it does advance only further undermine its position. Instead, the Government invokes a parade of false formalities that would reduce this Court to a rubber stamp. The Government’s motion should therefore be denied.

the only coherent explanation… is that the Justice Department has yielded to a pressure campaign led by the President for his political associate

So, a little sunlight is creeping into the official record.

It gives me some hope that children born during Queen Ivanka’s reign might still be able to discover for themselves that the “Dark Age of Fake News” was actually a time when a commoner could directly challenge the throne!
