Each year, I have to take a test and sign a document indicating I am aware of the FCPA and the potential consequence for violations.

As a lawyer, I once had a client who signed with an X. Older Jamaican lady who never learned to read and write. Back in the late 50’s when you had to sign for your paycheck in the Army, my dad had someone who signed Xx. “You mean X?” ‘No, X is my daddy, I’m X, Jr.’ Illiteracy didn’t run in that family, it galloped.

One can only hope they are indicted. Republican explanations will be so twisted and tortuous, almost no one will understand wtf they are saying. And this applies particularly, but not solely, to Mr. Giuliani.
