Rudy Giuliani said Tuesday that Jon Sale will no longer represent him in the House impeachment inquiry, two weeks after Giuliani hired him.

It’s gotten so bad that even Bernie Kerik doesn’t wanna be associated with Rudy any more.

I understand that George Washington contacted Giuliani to ask for his woo-dentures back.

“Rudy asked me to assist him respond to this subpoena,” Sale told TPM, adding that he had completed the task.

“There was no split between us,” Sale said.

Giuliani told ABC News on Tuesday that he will not comply with the subpoena.

So, what was Sale’s recommendation on responding to the subpoena? I’m gonna guess it wasn’t to go on ABC News and say “I won’t comply with it.”

ETA: Even though he wrote the reply letter, I doubt that was his recommendation. And he got out before any of the fallout hit from the refusal to appear.

Hope he charged Rudy a bunch - up front.

A recent New Yorker had a spoofed conversation between Zelensky and his staff immediately after the infamous call. A memorable exchange involved people not wanting to have to talk to Rudy anymore and one person describing Rudy as looking like a white vinyl sofa with teeth. I am still laughing about that a week later.

Sale obvious wants to keep his law license and whatever shred of dignity is left after getting involved with Rudy so of course he isn’t going to dish any dirt. Rudy, OTOH, doesn’t realize that he’ll have trouble making money as a disbarred, disgraced political consultant.
