Rudy has been saying this publicly. Trump would like to turn the Senate trial into a circus of disinformation. The GOPers in the Senate won’t let him do that, for now. I think Trump will probably try to insert Rudy at some point b/c he’s not going to be satisfied with how the trial unfolds (if the GOP concedes to a legit process).
I could see Giuliani cross examining himself as a witness. I could also see him hit himself over the head with a mallet and then go swinging away…
