Hyping a big Postal Service reorganization plan that he still hasn’t unveiled publicly yet, Postmaster General Louis DeJoy appeared before Congress Wednesday with a declaration, rather than details: I’m here to stay.
This guy may be crooked enough to avoid prosecution in the private sector, but there’s too many people gunning for him (metaphorically) to avoid it in the Post Office organization.
“Does it make a difference if it’s an extra day to get a letter? Because something has to change.”
How about stop paying pensions of postal employees who haven’t even been born yet? How about, at least, stop using that money to pay down the nation debt?
It would help if he had any qualifications for the job in the first place, other than being a Trump sycophant. But he didn’t, and he was. If Biden can get rid of him, he should do so ASAP.
