This doesnā€™t make sense as a legal argumentā€¦it is completely possible that someone could be a legally registered voter in one district in November and another one in December. People move and update their information all of the time, and someone who has done so is legally voting.

Though, they really should be careful about thisā€¦there is already a case of a Republican in FL who registered illegally in GA for the runoff, so they may lose more votes than they think by investigating all of the registrations.

Itā€™s just another instance of Republicans trying to suppress votesā€¦we really need these GA seats to go Democratic so voting rights legislation can pass that will stop this.

If they were good and decent people who championed good policies that benefitted more Americans, then they would not need to make fools of themselves and try so hard to suppress votes.

ā€¦but I guess Iā€™m naĆÆve.

Exactly. If I canā€™t win, for example, because my position is unpopular enough that I could never get my position passedā€¦Iā€™m already being disenfranchised.

So, really, without cheating, Iā€™ll never not be disenfranchised!

Why do you hate Democracy, libtard?

How much money did they make from the insider trading due to stock tips they got in Congressional testimony? Itā€™s all about greed and power, and how they can turn that into moneyā€¦there are so many Republicans who are in government for those reasons instead of serving the public that itā€™s really a problem. Weā€™re actually looking at a change from those Republicans to QAnon believers, who are suprisingly worseā€¦weā€™ll see if they continue to take the party over.

That explains why Barr stuck around until Dec. 23.

Well, it does make insider trading a bit easier.

Joe won the first time I voted for him. Sorry I got complacent the second time.

"The lawsuit calls for all incoming ballots to be segregated accordingly, and for all new registrants to be ā€œinvestigatedā€ to make sure they did not vote in a different Senate race in another state for the general election."

And this from a pair of hopefully-erstwhile Senators who can ill afford to be investigated themselves.

If I understand this logic correctly, only people who voted for one of the senatorial candidates in November should be allowed to vote in the runoff, because itā€™s really the same election.

Oops, I used the word ā€œlogicā€.

ā€œThe new lawsuit, filed in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Georgia, seeks to silo ballots cast by voters who registered after the November electionā€¦ā€

People registered to vote, AND voted, after the election? Is this just for the Senate runoffs?

Will the goobers follow thru with their suit even if they win? Itā€™s possible in todayā€™s illogical world.
