Liz C. sez:
Trump uses language he knows caused the Jan 6 violence; suggests he’d pardon the Jan 6 defendants, some of whom have been charged with seditious conspiracy; threatens prosecutors; and admits he was attempting to overturn the election.

He’d do it all again if given the chance.

This.

Trump’s attempt to stoke his white supporters’ resentment over supposed “anti-white” oppression isn’t subtle here…

In Texas??

ROTHENBURGER: No surprise that trucker convoy lost control of the message | CFJC Today Kamloops

Maybe that’s because protesters urinated on the National War Memorial and danced on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

And because nearby residents complained of protesters defecating on their lawns.

And because staff and volunteers at a homeless shelter say they were harassed with demands for food, and one client was allegedly assaulted.

Or maybe because a large “Mandate Freedom” sign and an upside-down Canadian flag were hung on a statue of our beloved Terry Fox.

Protest organizers can insist all they want that these were isolated incidents but they have to wear it. When members of a protest bring out Confederate and Nazi flags, placards that employ foul language and advocate the overthrow of a democratically elected government, you know something’s wrong with the picture.

Only in America will people pay $220 for fake “proof” of a vaccination that they could have gotten for free.

I hope that it’s not just the nurses getting charged, but that they track down each and every individual who received those services and throw the fucking book at them.

A few other Republicans opposed Trump’s plan

Gee, that many? And no surprise it’s two of the biggest flippers of all. Miss Furrowed Brow and the guy who spins more than a weather vane.
[edited]

I apologize if someone found this offensive. If I’m missing something, please PM me and let me know so I can fix it. My only intention was to point out that the only Republican’s opposing T****'s plan were “a few” who would change their minds later.

Gee, some 700ish insurrectionists already under charges, and indications of more to come, surely is crystal-clear evidence that Garland is a fraud and not taking anything seriously.

Yes, $220. I upped it by $30 yesterday. And authorities seized $900,000 in cash, not $700,000.

Or that they could just make themselves. The CDC card isn’t difficult to fake. I guess what creates a market is that you need access to at least one legit card as a template, and not that many people are tech savvy with image editing and printing. At least the older ones aren’t. The kids are probably printing lots of these.

It’s too late now, but the CDC should have gone to a national QR code app on your phone, like some states are doing. That’s tied to a database lookup and can’t be faked. Or at least not easily faked.

Nice straw-man you got there. How often does he need fed?

A second trump term would be about vengeance. And demagoguery in the extreme. And it would mean the end of the American Republic as it would become trumpland. Damaged beyond recognition. trump would go after more than the well known… he would seek to destroy the 81 million who voted for Biden.

And then Collins gets called “wacky” for her mealy mouthed statement by him last night.

He really went over/off the rails last night. There’s a feeling that something big is going to come this week. Hope so, because he needs to be shut down.

On Morning Joe just now, Joe went on one of his rants railing against the false equivalency people like Sununu, Romney, Sasse, Sasser, Portman engaged in by acting as though Biden is just as bad as Trump. He also talked about Al Gore and the courage and character it took for him to accept defeat even though he’d actually won the election. It really was fantastic, but he kept missing something. The difference between Gore and the other men he mentioned is that democracy ultimately isn’t as important to those men as power and party loyalty. Most of them are speaking out against Trump because he’s bad for the GOP and they know it. That’s what has them shook.
