IIRC the local newspaper, the North Shore Leader, was all over the fraud that is George Anthony Devolder Santos long before he was elected. Indeed, had it not been for its essential work the NYT et al. probably would’ve never discovered the depth of his deceits.

Ok then… how come Santos/Devolder endures far fewer delays in the justice system than a certain former guy? Why is that? Money? Former position in government? Or is it cuz TSF is just “spechul” and beyond ordinary law?
donald trump should be served a plate of comeuppance at his sentencing and get at least two years in prison.
Maybe it will help him to look not absolutely terrified in prison, which might come in handy.

The fact that Santos made it as far as he did with this grift is a testament to how tolerant the modern GOP has become of corruption and an all-around lack of any qualifications or integrity in its ranks. “Dumpsterfire” is their brand now.
