The U.S. attorney prosecuting the case against freshman Rep. George Santos (R-N.Y.) has indicated they are involved in discussions on how to resolve the case. However, in a series of texts to TPM, Santos insisted those talks have nothing to do with a potential plea deal on charges related to his campaign finances and false statements he made in official filings.
If he said it it must be true because, as we all know, George Santos is incapable of telling a lie.

If Santos wants people to think he’s not working on a plea deal, he should tell them that he IS working on a plea deal. Everyone assumes that everything he says is a lie. Let’s just hope, however, that he never speaks the words “I am Lying,” or the world’s computers will melt down …

Let’s hope its true. This would have been the trial of the century had Trump not been indicted four times. It promises to be a wild ride.
