Can we call Donnie a, “nattering nabob of negativism,” now?
Ah yes! It’s the Republicans’ only agenda. Saves on printing costs when publishing the party’s platform.

Since the debt ceiling is basically about stiffing your creditors and ruining your credit rating, perhaps the House GOP could employ a “dine and dash” strategy, i.e. vote quick and depart congress as fast as possible. Probably safe to come back after a couple decades. Boebert and Green at the Clam Bar.
That makes less than no sense, Ralph.
Isn’t it incumbent on him as a journalist to say, “The Republicans have no actual plan to cut the budget deficit”? Isn’t that the fact, and the Republican plan to cut the deficit the fantasy/prevarication/lie?
ETA: I didn’t recognize NYT Pitchbot as a parody account. So yeah, Ralph. Ain’t it the truth, indeed.

And they are all one big happy family of mentally ill, low-IQ people who haven’t any skills in critical thinking (primarily because critical thinking in their view is hating America).
What’s the prize, a cot and three hots?
If it is, I can’t disagree with them – so much winning.
