Stephen Hill got back from a deployment in Iraq last week, and in an interview with the Associated Press, he says he wasn’t trying to score political points when he asked GOP presidential candidates if they would reinstate “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.” He says he was surprised by the crowd’s reaction to his question.
