Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL), who has been practically jumping up and down for President Donald Trump’s attention lately, filed an ethics complaint on Wednesday against Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA).
Slightly (but then again not) OT,
Just when you thought GOPers were exhausting the available supply of hypocrites, it seems they’ve exhumed Bob Livingstone from his lobbyist crypt. Looking forward to the reanimation of Henry Hyde.
Good luck with that, Gaetz. You had no problem with any of these actions when you were pursuing HRC on Benghazi - the rules for which you wrote - so how’s about you go take a seat over there (in Crimea) and let the adults run this, ok?
His complaint is akin to arguing that a prosecution’s failure to invite a defendant & his counsel to participate in a grand jury proceeding leading to an indictment somehow “poisons” the trial itself.
What were the consequences of these jackasses breaking rules and bringing electronic devices into a secured room? If there were none then expect more bullshit from these clowns.
Had read about the guy (Patel) but the details makes chin hurt given how hard I dropped my jaw.
But he was instructed “at the last second” not to attend the debriefing, Vindman told lawmakers, because Trump’s advisers worried it might confuse the president: Trump believed at the time that Kashyap Patel, a longtime Nunes staffer who joined the White House in February and had no discernible Ukraine experience or expertise, was actually the NSC’s top Ukraine expert instead of Vindman.
