Showing naked photos of women to random strangers and other Republican House weirdos is hardly a show of respect, and is, in fact, incredibly sleazy. It makes clear these people weren’t girlfriends to him, but conquests. Would any of us do this to someone we cared about? Or didn’t really care about, for that matter? It’s about respecting another person’s boundaries. I know this isn’t the worst thing he’s alleged to have done, but I find it disturbing.
Oh, it’s jarring. Matt went from a rarely heard name to a fairly popular one when I was young, but it’s still rare enough that it takes me aback for a moment when people here lately are saying Matt did this and said that and God what a douche Matt is.
