Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) was known in Florida politics for bragging about women he met through a county tax collector who has since been indicted on a federal sex trafficking charge, the Washington Post reported on Friday night.
Chelsea Handler had a picture of herself taken topless on a horse as an answer to this and some Internet wag observed that the Cold War was getting nippier.
Anyway can they go ahead and charge the dumb bastard already? Commenting on the latest 17 snippets per day is becoming something like an unpaid second career.
Someone from The National Review called him a frat-boy. I couldn’t find out if he ever was a frat boy, but maybe he was too sexy for a fraternity?
So Mattie say: “I have never paid for sex. I have never had sex with an underage person as an adult,” Gaetz wrote.
So he paid Greenberg who paid for Matt’s sex partners? Or is he quibbling over handing over cash directly?
Exactly. I’m still getting caught up on comments from yesterday. Got my first vaccine shot yesterday, then a 5 hour refresher for my seasonal job that starts Monday.
“I have dated women in college and graduate school, and have boasted about how great they are across the board, as boyfriends do.
Showing naked photos of women to random strangers and other Republican House weirdos is hardly a show of respect, and is, in fact, incredibly sleazy. It makes clear these people weren’t girlfriends to him, but conquests. Would any of us do this to someone we cared about? Or didn’t really care about, for that matter? It’s about respecting another person’s boundaries. I know this isn’t the worst thing he’s alleged to have done, but I find it disturbing.
Oh, it’s jarring. Matt went from a rarely heard name to a fairly popular one when I was young, but it’s still rare enough that it takes me aback for a moment when people here lately are saying Matt did this and said that and God what a douche Matt is.
