Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) announced early Friday morning that she would not seek reelection for her House seat, arousing immediate suspicion that she intends to launch a third-party presidential bid after all.

Yup. She’s gonna go third party and will say Hillary is the reason why.

Maybe, if we’re lucky, she’ll pull some of the “lock her up crowd away” from Spankee and weaken him.

If we’re unlucky, she’ll muck up the Dems.

Anyone have any idea how she’s polling with independents??

Putin gets another reason to smile, today.

She’s obviously auditioning for a paid gig on Fox. Fox loves having DINO in-house talent that will disparage Democrats on various panels throughout the week.

what is she trying to be?

Wealthy.

You would have to be a very, very dense person to think that Gabbard is acting in good faith. Stein could sort of pull it off I guess.

Anyway, LOL go away Assad-defending garbage

From reading about her supporters in this article, it sounds like she’d be more of a spoiler for the Republicans than the Democrats if she ran as a third party candidacy.

Anyway, with the Greens and Libertarians, she’d be a fifth party candidate.

Hmmm, what’s the term in The Americans for second generation individuals who are born here but become loyal to Russia?

I am also reminded of the movie No Way Out with Kevin Costner wherein he was a naval officer but also “Yuri”.

Gabbard just strikes me as someone too patriotic by half, and all too conveniently chose to run and serve as a Democrat.

If she runs as a third-party candidate, Putin and the Russian bots will position her to muck up the Dems.

Hopefully, as @steviedee111 says, she’ll just go to Fox.

Relevant.

And she’s failing.

Or… Trump dumps Pence and grabs Gabbard for the VP slot? He’s been wanting to dispense with Pence, but perhaps back-up plan Nikki nixed joining the ticket after the Syria debacle. Tulsi will be the sultry alternative.

Wrong. She’s not launching a third-party bid, she’s running for the Duma.

A very plausible hypothesis.

HRC is right again…Republican groomed (NOT Russian groomed) 3rd Party candidate!

Addendum:

Just a note…in Michigan, Wisconsin & Pennsylvania…3rd party candidate Jill Stein’s (with the famous photo at dinner with Vlad) total votes is bigger than the Russian-Installed-Criminal-In-Chief’s victory margins!

Kahele bet well.

I know we’re the big party tent, but I am embarrassed that she’s a Democrat

Oh, yes, that goes without saying. The question is, where would they position her that it would hurt Dems without hurting Spankee.

(Of course, this is assuming that Spankee is on the ticket next year – something that is not 100% guaranteed at the point.)

A difference without a distinction.
