Georgia state Rep. Vernon Jones (D), a Democrat who had issued a full-throated endorsement of President Donald Trump last week, announced on Wednesday that he was resigning, effective immediately.
He sounds more like an independent depositor than thinker. I hope he got top dollar for his soul, but methinks he didn’t or else he would still have it.
Newsflash: just because you’re bucking some system or another…including systems of thought like logic…doesn’t mean you’re proving yourself to be independent or a special snowflake.
This dude wants in on the grift game like he can already taste it.
There’s an interesting profile of him in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution:
He seems to be all over the place politically. Maybe party of one would be a good description. If he indeed resigns, does this give the governor the ability to add a Republican to the Georgia legislature?
