Fulton County DA Says Charging Decision Will Come By Sept. 1 In Trump 2020 Probe

Georgia’s Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis said in an interview over the weekend that she will announce charging decisions in her investigation into efforts by former President Donald Trump and his allies to overturn the state’s 2020 presidential election result by September 1.

September 1st?

I demand an immediate indictment. They’ve had three years, so far? What in the world do they need another month for? I am tempted to write a VERY STRONGLY WORDED letter.

How likely is it that she would make such a statement if she didn’t think she was going to indict him? She already knows what’s coming and is only putting the final touches on it. She wouldn’t be teasing this if she if she wasn’t sure she was about to charge him.

She added that people may not be happy with her upcoming announcements and “sometimes when people are unhappy, they act in a way that could create harm.”

The fascist cult is well aware of that tendency, hence their courting of the perpetually aggrieved and chronically unhappy.

She wouldn’t put barricades around the courthouse if she wasn’t going to charge him.

Yeah, prepare to be disappointed. It’s all a bunch of misdemeanors and state RICO charges that are not going to put Fat Boy in prison. Fani Willis is all hype.

That is exactly my feeling as well.
But as you can gather from my earlier posts I really do consider trump a traitor. Even if that won’t be a charge from Smith. Our only salvation as a country is to not elect trump which would result in his many trials snd convictions.

Those traffic barricades went up in one day. Why would you impede pedestrian and vehicle flow in and around the courthouse for more than a month leading up to a Sept 1st indictment announcement?

Fani had nothing else to do

I’ll believe it when I see it.

Trump is never spending time in a penitentiary, for any of his crimes, State or Federal. Mark it.

“As excruciating as the spectacle of the disbarment proceedings has been,” Field observes, “I suspect that John Eastman remains unfazed by it. He might be physically present at the hearings, but his mind is traversing the intellectual upside-down of the Claremont universe, where hostile arguments can’t touch him. Over two and a half years have passed since the 2020 election. The longer he pursues his empty claims of fraud, the further he gets from the norms and institutions that give shape to everyday American reality, and the deeper he gets into a different, darker place.”

Those barricades were put up to protect the courthouse area from the people who are expecting an indictment and who may not be happy with her upcoming announcement that will be delivered by @steviedee111 as her designated surrogate.

He has been indicted with around 75 felony counts across about 2.5 indictments. I recall you saying he would not get charged. We each have our opinions and that’s as it should be. My opinion (and that’s all it is) is that trump is a traitor along with massive guilt for multiple obstruction charges, selling secrets to the Saudis,(espionage act) and plain old theft of government property. For this he rightly should be jailed. If not we have no justice.
If reelected he will pardon himself which is an admission of guilt

Do you think he will eventually be incarcerated in a Federal or State penitentiary? That is my question.

Allow me to lay another marker: The claim that the Trump leadership PAC spent $40 million on legal fees in the first half of this year is obvious bullshit. Fat Boy doesn’t have that many lawyers working for him, they’re mostly not doing much of anything, and none of them are particularly high rent.

Trump’s got maybe 25 attorneys working for him and his co-defendants. They’re mostly cheap-ass nobodies, but assume they’re all billing at the incredibly inflated rate of $1000/hr. They would each have to have billed 1,600 hours in the first half of the year to reach $40 million. That’s completely and utterly implausible. So either Trump is skimming from the PAC – a safe bet – or he’s putting out a sob story to juice his donations. I’d put money on both being true.
