Says it for me. I’m not fond of popes on principle but this was a pretty stunning move by a pope.

He’s tunneling through a mountain with a teaspoon, unfortunately. A Vatican III would have to be a total uprooting and re-orientation of the faith, not just renewal.

I agree. He faces loads of opposition from within and that church is rotten to the core.
