I read the part about climate change mitigation and it’s wonderful rainbow unicorn promises, without being explicit about what they’ve managed to get past the Manchin Grinch as an actual plan.
I’m hoping it works out, but I suspect there will be a major disconnect between what’s promised in the framework and what actually gets in the bill.
State Rep. Matt Krause, a candidate for state attorney general, asked school superintendents to confirm whether any books on a list of 850 titles are in their libraries and classrooms.

And for those who are interested here’s the list.
Interesting thing, at least to me, is that the list is sorted by publication date. So the oldest title is 1969, “A Case In Need”, by Michael Crichton-mystery/fiction.
And just because Krause doesn’t demand that books on this list be removed, what does he hope to gain from requiring a thinly stretched staff to research these titles? And why doesn’t anyone else on the Texas House Committee on General Investigating know about this? (yes I understand he’s running for TX AG…)

Bingo. That’s the key. Put out national ads with Republicans denying what happened on Jan. 6 and show images of police being beaten, the Capitol being overrun, and members of Congress running for their lives. Force every single Republican running anywhere to either condemn 1/6 or deny it. Make them all own it.
