I think the main reason not to denounce is because he has an uncurable case of “You’re not the boss of me.” He has no trouble lying when it suits him. He could denounce and then later say things that were the opposite of that and act like the denunciation never happened, but he’s not going to do it because people are demanding it of him.

I’d like to understand what gives Trump the right to demand that Joe Biden say, “law and order” (which he did, adding the two words “with justice” to remove its dog-whistle meaning) when no one has the right to demand that Trump say, “I condemn the Proud Boys” or “I condemn the organizers of the Charlottesville rally” or “I condemn David Duke.”
Anyone help me here? Or is the answer the same as always: “he’s a racist, and racists get a free pass under this maladministration.”

I guess Press Secretary Barbie needs a new infusion of Botox. She looks pretty flustered and angry. How hard would it be for a normal person with a normal moral sense who works for a normal person to answer that question? But she was hired by a person who has none of those qualities and was hired for the simple reason that he saw a kindred soul, another person without a single shred of decency. Can most of us imagine how ashamed they would be to be the hired gun of a mentally deranged piece of human scum who promotes white supremacy and the destruction of a presidential election.
