Fox News Manipulates Pictures Of Seattle Protests

Fox News spliced together different photos to accompany pieces on the Seattle protests and Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone (CHAZ), making the scenes look much more violent and destructive than they are.

Next up: they’ll photoshop red hats onto the BLM peaceful protests and claim they’re Trump rallies.

Fox News new motto: It’s not fake news if we can fool you…it’s all the news you need to know. Foxy, eh?

“Mr. President, it’s been proven that Fox News edited photos about the protests to show them as more violent than they actually were. Are you going to call them out as ‘fake news’?”

“I haven’t seen those photos…wait, why is everyone laughing?”

The only saving grace on this is that if FOX showed the right pictures, the FOX viewing audience would see the wrong ones anyway.

So at least we come out ahead in the sense that we can show, once again, that FOX News is not news.

Fox News is a virulent cancer on the body politic. It needs to be permanently removed.

This is a coordinated effort, to scare white voters. Fox news blowing things out of proportion, the Antifa scares, the complicity of the police departments (see columbus OH) they are trying to paint a picture of total chaos that only a tough law and order guy like Trump can save them, by bringing the military to “dominate” the cities. They are setting the conditions for a self-coup, with all the patriotic, christians cheering.

Here’s one of the poorly photoshopped photos.

Look closely in the bend of his left elbow. You can see where the “artist” decided s/he was tired of cloning the car.

That is actually the original photo posted by Getty images. It’s real. What’s cloned in the car is where someone took out the Getty images watermark. Someone stole this from Getty and photoshpoped out the watermark. This IS the photo that was used as the source for the armed protester to use in other photoshopped photos but this one is correct (other than someone taking the watermark out)

Here it is.

Remember folks, the commander in chief of the United States gets his “daily briefing” from Fox News. He doesn’t read and rarely listens to the people from our intelligence community who are skilled at separating propaganda from real news.

I was talking about the piss-poor photoshopping here:

Also, his outline, especially along his left leg is crappy

Yes, that’s where someone took the Getty Images watermark out. Look at the two pictures (yours and the one I link at Getty), that’s where the watermark should be. Whomever is the source for the photo you are linking just stole it from the Getty Images website and photoshopped the watermark off. That’s what you are seeing, the artifacts of removing the watermark.

We need to be accurate about this. The photos FOX photoshopped shouldn’t be lumped in with photos they didn’t since any inaccuracies in leftist criticism will be used to discredit the complaint. What FOX did clearly stands out, we don’t need to muddy the waters ourselves.

Edit: Here’s the twitter feed of the photographer who took the photo saying it’s real. He’s also been all over condemning FOX News for the other photoshops so he’s on our side here.

This is probably the first time I’ve seen the words “facts” and “Fox News” used in the same sentence.

I live in Seattle, although north of this neighborhood. I do not know why the East precinct became such a flash point for both demonstrators and SPD. It seems to me had they been allowed to march past or around it, things would not have devolved. Residents and businesses in that neighborhood will eventually grow weary of the situation or the group will pick up and move once the weather becomes wetter and colder or the kids get bored. Right now the area has more of a street fair vibe to it than an insurrection. What Fox did was not journalism but propaganda and disinformation.

This needs to be called out hard, letting it go is not an option anymore. FOX News is manufacturing a very dangerous narrative using lies. FOX News is lying to it’s viewers to make them fear other Americans. Whenever any other news source makes a mistake conservatives will scream until something happens. Well it’s Dems turn. Dem politicians need to step up here and call this out (and yea, it need to be politicians since their words garner media attention regular critics don’t)
