Is it just me or is this a Fox media personality thing? I don’t see shit like this on CBS, NBC, CNN, etc. Am I blinkered?

Well, if someone is a damned creep in front of the camera, you can damned well bet they are a creep away from the camera. One of life’s not so subtle truths, for sure. Look at Donnie…

Fox offered no details of the complaint that resulted in Henry’s firing, only to say that it happened “years ago.”

No freaking way.

Sexual harassment is pretty much part of the ingrained corporate culture at NewsCorp. You can change out the faces at the top of the org chart, but it won’t change their core values.

News readers are performers. They are in show business. Sexual Social Distancing is just not something that is important in an industry where for decades Harvey Weinstein was a role model.

Should’ve seen this coming. The dude is always smirking like he just got to third base for the first time at age 40.

It’s not just news culture by a long shot!

Fox News seems worse than others, to be fair.

Funny how Bill O’Reilly held on there for many years after what he did became public and Fox paid out big bucks to buy off those he harassed. The depositions are online and are revealing.

Then there was Roger Ailes himself.

I think their infractions are worse because of their ‘holier than thou’ attitude. So yeah - they wind up hoisted on their own petard.

Exactly. It’s part of the culture because the culture is steeped in misogyny. When you require women to dress and look like they just stepped off the set of Dynasty, when you devalue and demean women in this manner while allowing the men to look and dress how ever they want, it sends a signal about how women are to be treated.

I see…they’re going to stick with the outstanding journalists who remain.

I was perusing my cable guide the other night. I noticed that Newsmax gave Mark Halperin his own show. Him and O’Reilly make it some repository for old news perverts. I wouldn’t be shocked if Ed Henry made it over there.

Good on FOX for moving on this. However, I can’t help but ‘remember’ yesterday with Donnie tweeting ‘what would Roger Ailes do’…
