You know I’m sure some labs have isolated samples of the virus, if he feels so strongly about herd immunity why doesn’t he show some guts and have himself injected with the live virus. None of this mamby pamby seeing if you pick it up from social interaction go for broke and show us all how it is done.

Fox News contributor Pete Hegseth encouraged healthy Americans to “have some courage” and defy social distancing orders in order to get sick with COVID-19.

“Herd immunity is our friend,” Hegseth said in an appearance on Fox News’ “Outnumbered” Thursday. He was referring to the phenomenon in which a sufficient number of people are immune from a disease such that spread of that disease is slowed.

“Healthy people getting out there, they’re going to have to have some courage,” Hegseth said, citing Texas as a state where “people are defying ridiculous orders.”

this asshat should be arrested for criminal endangerment. I am quite serious. I am not snarking here. This n00b is endangering ME as an old fart. I DO NOT WANT TO DIE JUST TO KEEP HIM HAPPY. I think I might just call up our state police or FBI to see if charges can be brought.
There is no "Herd Immunity for old folk who succumb at 40% to covid. And this idiot would be killing 3-8% of his own viewership.

He said from his home office while he shelters in place and homeschools his children he wont let outside…

Twitter should be on fire demanding that he bring his children to the next armed white nationalist tantrum to show them how real warrior.Americans exercise their rights.and courage.

He needs to add that to truly demonstrate courage, the idiots following his advice must sign a pledge not to go to a hospital if they are infected. The herd will take care of them.

Yup - if he’s such a big boy, he should lead the charge.

Clearly from the photo, he’s at home.

Why isn’t he doing this from the nearest park or open area near his home? Why isn’t he in the studio, forcing his crew to be there - cameras, producers, etc.

Sounds like a lot of talk from a coward.

Courage?” So that’s what they’re calling denial and suggestibility these days.
That’ll give us some of the ‘herd mentality’ Hegseth yearns for.

Injection?
Nah, better way is to huff it out of an atomizer like would be done with asthma treatment. Straight to the lungs for pure joy of “herd Immunity”. Sadly the damage has been done as I am sure people who watch Fox will now toss masks aside and behave like total idiots infecting themselves and innocent people. not looking to get sick.

“Drunk on power.” Yes, it’s the authoritarian mindset to encourage citizens to…work from home. They’ve fallen for our evil plan! Bwa-ha-ha-ha!
